A practitioner
before a founder.

Garima's journey through leadership, Classical Hatha Yoga, and the experiences that eventually became arthbound.

I did not come to yoga because I wanted to leave the world behind.

For more than two decades, I worked in corporate leadership, eventually as a Chief Human Resources Officer.

I was deeply engaged in the world of people, organisations, ambition, responsibility, change and the constant movement that comes with professional life.

Yoga was not an escape from that life.

It was another path I had been walking alongside it.

The practice deepened.

What began as a personal practice gradually became a much deeper exploration.

That journey eventually took me to Sadhguru Gurukulam, where I undertook 1,750 hours of intensive Classical Hatha Yoga training.

It was not a departure from the life I had known. But the depth of the practice began to change how I experienced myself, people and the world around me.

And then, I went back.

Back to corporate life. Back to meetings, decisions, deadlines, responsibility and leadership.

The outer world was familiar.

What had changed was how I met it.

I continued to practise and teach while working. The same circumstances could be experienced differently; the way I related to work, people, pace and my own life was no longer quite what it had been.

Where arthbound was born.

arthbound grew from this journey. Not because I had arrived at an answer, but because I wanted to create spaces where people could explore for themselves.

Through practice. Through places. Through people. Through shared experiences.

Classical Hatha Yoga sits at the heart of this work, alongside sacred spaces, living cultures, nature, conversation, inquiry and experiences that allow us to encounter life a little differently.

And as people journey together, something else has begun to take shape naturally, a Sangha, a community that continues to connect, practise, explore and journey together.

I am still on the journey.

I do not hold these experiences from the position of someone who has figured everything out.

I am exploring many of these questions myself.

My role is to thoughtfully create and hold the conditions for an experience, through practice, places, people and the journeys we take together, and allow each person to discover what it means for them.
